What is a grey 3 seater sofa?

A grey 3 seater sofa is a three-person sofa upholstered in grey, available in fabric, leather or genuine leather, and built either as a fixed-back frame or as a manual or electric recliner. It seats three adults comfortably and is the usual anchor piece for a main living room. Grey is the most versatile upholstery shade because it works as a neutral against warm and cool schemes alike.

Do you sell grey leather 3 seater sofas as well as fabric?

Yes, and leather is the larger part of this collection. Dalmore, Renato and Dandrea are genuine leather. Valerie, Valencia, Chesterfield and Cinema are leather-upholstered frames using a different construction. On the fabric side we stock Verona as a scatter-back and as a high-back, plus Canterbury, Somerford, Conway and Tanya. Both materials are available as fixed-back frames and as recliners.

What is the difference between genuine leather and other leather upholstery?

Genuine leather means the seating surfaces are genuine hide, and we only describe a product that way where that is the case. It develops its own grain and patina over time and benefits from a conditioner twice a year. Other leather-upholstered frames use a different construction, need less ongoing care and are usually less expensive. The exact specification is set out on each individual product page.

What size is a grey 3 seater sofa?

Frames in this collection vary, so take the width, depth and height from the individual product page rather than a category average — a deep-buttoned Chesterfield and a slim fixed-back frame do not share a footprint at the same seat count. Mark the outline on the floor with masking tape before ordering, and measure your access route at its narrowest point as well as the room itself.

Should I choose a light grey or a dark grey 3 seater sofa?

Follow the light in the room. North-facing rooms take cool indirect light that makes grey read darker and flatter, so a lighter shade keeps the space open. South-facing rooms take warm direct light that washes out pale upholstery, so a mid or deep grey holds its character better. If the sofa faces a large screen, a darker shade reflects noticeably less light back at the picture.

Are grey 3 seater sofas available as recliners?

Yes. Alongside fixed-back designs, this collection includes manual and electric reclining frames in both fabric and leather. Conway and Valencia are manual, Tanya and Cinema are electric, and Renato and Dandrea are electric power recliners in genuine leather. Any reclining frame needs clearance behind it to open fully, and the exact figure is given on each product page.

What is the difference between an electric and a manual recliner?

A manual recliner opens on a lever or push-back motion. It has no motor or mains lead, works during a power cut, has fewer components to maintain and can stand anywhere in the room. An electric recliner opens on a button and stops at any position, taking no physical effort, which matters if someone has limited strength or restricted knee movement. Electric models need a socket within reach.

How do I clean a grey 3 seater sofa?

Care depends on the material. Genuine leather should be wiped with a barely damp cloth, kept away from solvent cleaners, and conditioned twice a year. Other leather upholstery needs only a wipe-clean routine. Fabric should be vacuumed regularly, with spills blotted immediately using a clean dry cloth rather than rubbed, since rubbing works liquid deeper into the weave and seams.

How long does a grey 3 seater sofa last?

That depends far more on use and care than on colour. Frame construction, how often the seat is used, exposure to direct sunlight and how promptly spills are dealt with all matter more than the shade. Material changes how ageing looks rather than how long it takes: genuine leather develops a patina, while fabric shows wear in the weave and on the seat fronts first.

Why are no prices shown in the guide text on this page?

Because prices are live and change. Every figure on a product card comes straight from our stock system, so the card is always the authoritative price. A number written into guide copy would go out of date the first time a price moved. Note too that an out-of-stock frame at a low figure does not represent what you can order today — filter by in-stock before you compare.

Can I buy a grey 3 seater sofa as part of a 3+2 set?

This collection lists three-seater frames only, so a 3+2 or 3+1+1 arrangement is built by pairing rather than bought as a single listing. Where a matching two-seater or armchair exists in the same range, it is shown on that range's own product page. Match the range rather than the shade description, because two greys from different ranges can differ in undertone and weave.

How long does delivery take and what does it cost?

Grey 3 seater sofas in stock are delivered in 7 to 10 working days and delivery is free across England and Wales. Our own two-person employed team brings the sofa into a ground-floor room of your choice, access permitting, rather than a third-party courier leaving it at the door. It is worth confirming doorway and hallway measurements before your delivery date.

Is the sofa assembled, or do I need to build it?

Assembly requirements vary by model, so check the individual product page for your chosen frame. Where a model arrives in sections or with feet to be fitted, our two-person delivery team handles that on site as part of the delivery. You will not be asked to build a frame yourself. If you want to confirm before ordering, call 02476 705 600.

What happens if my grey 3 seater sofa arrives damaged?

Contact us on 02476 705 600 as soon as you notice, ideally on the day of delivery, and keep the packaging and any labels. Photographs of the damage help us deal with it quickly. Our team will talk you through the options for your particular order. Your statutory rights under consumer law are unaffected by anything set out here.

What is your returns policy?

Our 14-day change of mind policy applies from the date of delivery. Because a three-seater is a large item, returns are arranged as a collection rather than a carrier drop-off, so call 02476 705 600 to book it. The sofa needs to be in the condition it arrived in, so keep the packaging until you are certain. Full conditions are set out in our refund policy.

Is a warranty included with a grey 3 seater sofa?

Cover varies and is not identical across every range in this collection, so we do not publish a single term here. The current position for your chosen frame is held on the product record and set out on our Warranty & Support page. If you want it confirmed before you order, call 02476 705 600, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and we will check the specific model for you.
