What is in the grey sofas collection?

It gathers every grey sofa we stock in one place — across many brands and materials, in every size and format, from armchairs and footstools through 2, 3 and 4 seater sofas to corner sofas (including U-shape), a wide ladder of matching sets, and fixed, manual-reclining and electric-reclining designs. It is a large colour-based hub, so the quickest way to shop is to use the filters for material, size, reclining type and price to narrow the range.

What materials are available?

The full spread, all in grey: leather (including genuine leather on some ranges), fabric, suede and velvet. Genuine leather is confirmed on the Dalmore, Vantage, Cidliano, Dandrea and some Annecy ranges, whose titles state it. Other leather ranges — such as Valerie, Verona, Valencia and Cinema — are described simply as leather, because the titles do not state a grade. The Chesterfield range is an antique-finish leather. Suede (Maple) and velvet (Olympia, Scott, Sloane) are kept distinct from plain fabric. Use the material filter to shop by any of these.

Which sofas are genuine leather?

We describe a sofa as genuine leather only where the product title confirms it — which currently includes the Dalmore, Vantage, Cidliano, Dandrea and some Annecy ranges. Where a title says only “leather”, we describe it as leather rather than upgrading the claim, and we do not call any leather sofa faux or bonded. The Chesterfield range is an antique-finish leather, not described as genuine. If the exact grade matters to you, check the individual product page or call 02476 705 600.

What reclining options are there?

Both fixed and reclining grey sofas are here. A fixed sofa has a static seat and back. Reclining comes in two kinds: manual (operated by hand with a lever or push back, no power — for example Valencia manual, Conway and Torino) and electric (operated by a button using a motor, which generally needs a mains socket — for example Tanya, Maple, Cinema, Cidliano, Dandrea, Annecy and Roma Electric). We describe reclining as comfort and adjustable positioning, not a medical benefit.

What sizes and formats are available?

A full range, all in grey: armchairs and footstools, 2, 3 and 4 seater sofas, corner sofas (including left-hand, right-hand and U-shape designs), and matching sets from a 2+1 up to a three-piece 3+2+1, taking in 3+1, 2+2, 3+2, 3+3, 2+1+1 and 3+1+1. The numbers are the seats in each piece. Footstools are accessories rather than seats. Availability varies by size and material, so use the filters.

This collection is all grey — what shades are there?

Every piece here is grey, but grey covers a range of tones across the materials — from cooler, lighter greys to deeper charcoal-leaning shades, and the texture of leather, fabric, suede or velvet changes how the same grey reads in a room. Grey is a versatile, contemporary neutral that sits comfortably against most walls and floors. Screens vary, so treat the product images as a guide to the exact shade, and view swatches in the showroom if the tone is critical.

Which brands are included?

Many, including Valerie, Verona, Dalmore, Valencia, Conway, Chesterfield, Vantage, Cinema, Cidliano, Dandrea, Annecy, Roma, Tanya, Maple, Olympia, Scott, Sloane, Somerford, Carnaby and Torino. Each has its own look, material and price point, so this hub is a good place to compare grey sofas across the whole catalogue. Use the brand filter to focus on a particular range.

How do I choose the right size?

Start with the space you have and how many people you seat, then choose a size and format — an armchair or 2 seater for a snug, a 3 or 4 seater for most rooms, a corner or a larger set for a bigger space. A recliner needs extra depth for the footrest when open, and a corner needs length along both walls. Exact dimensions vary by range and are not all confirmed in the current data, so treat each product page's measurements as the deciding factor and mark the footprint on your floor before ordering.

Which sofas are in stock?

Most of the hub is in stock at the time of writing, with a broad choice across brands, materials and sizes, though a number of ranges are sold out and several are available to pre-order. Stock changes constantly, so treat the live product pages as authoritative, use the availability filter, use the back-in-stock option on any sold-out design, or the pre-order option where shown.

Can I pre-order grey sofas that are not in stock?

Yes — several ranges show a pre-order option with an estimated availability window on their product page, for example certain Dalmore, Annecy and Verona grey designs at the time of writing (typically 14 to 21 days). A pre-order lets you reserve the sofa ahead of its expected arrival. Check the stated timeframe on the product page, and call 02476 705 600 to confirm the expected date. Many grey ranges are also currently reduced; the lowest in-stock price is shown in the page’s meta information rather than in this copy.

How do I measure and get the sofa through the door?

Measure the length and depth of the space the sofa will sit in, allowing room to walk around it and, for a recliner, extra depth when open. Then measure the width and height of every doorway, hallway, stairwell and tight turn each piece must pass through, plus lift dimensions if you are above ground level. Confirm the packaged dimensions on the product page before your delivery date, or call 02476 705 600 if access looks tight.

How much is delivery and how does it work?

Delivery to England and Wales is free and handled by our two-person team, with the product page showing a short delivery timeframe at the time of writing. Because sofas and sets are large items, make sure your access route is clear on the day. Full details are on our delivery information page, or call 02476 705 600 with any questions.

Is finance available?

Yes. You can spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, Clearpay in 4 interest-free fortnightly payments, or DivideBuy for a longer-term plan — interest-free where stated and subject to credit check. Finance availability can vary by item, so check at checkout or call 02476 705 600.

Yes. We offer a 14-day returns window, sometimes described as 14-day change of mind, so you have time to be sure the sofa is right for your room. Because sofas and sets are large items, keep the packaging until you are certain and check the exact returns conditions. To arrange a return, contact us on 02476 705 600.

How do I care for my sofa?

It depends on the material. Wipe leather with a soft, barely damp cloth and blot spills promptly, keeping it out of direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Vacuum fabric and suede gently with an upholstery attachment and blot spills rather than rubbing; suede benefits from a soft brush. Brush velvet in one direction to keep the pile even. Specific care codes are not confirmed in the current data, so always follow the care label on the product and test any cleaning product on a hidden area first.

Where can I see other sizes or styles?

This hub is the grey view. For other colours, see our black sofas, cream sofas and brown sofas collections; for a specific material, our leather sofas, fabric sofas and velvet sofas collections; and for reclining designs, our recliner sofas collection.
