What is a recliner sofa set?

A recliner sofa set is a sofa, or matching set of sofas, fitted with reclining seats that allow the backrest to tilt back and a footrest to raise, independently for each seat. Unlike a single recliner armchair, it brings reclining comfort to multiple people at once.

What's the difference between electric and manual recliners?

A manual recliner is operated using a side handle or lever. An electric recliner reclines at the touch of a button, powered by a built-in motor. Electric recliners need a nearby power socket; manual recliners do not and are generally more budget-friendly.

Which upholstery should I choose — fabric, Leather Aire or genuine leather?

Fabric offers the softest feel and widest colour range. Leather Aire gives a leather look and feel at a more accessible price, and is durable and easy to clean. Genuine leather is the most premium option, developing a natural patina with age. All three are available across the full range of sizes and mechanisms.

How much wall clearance does a recliner sofa need?

Most recliners need 10–15cm of clearance behind them to recline fully, so avoid pushing the sofa flush against the wall. Always check the specific clearance requirement on the product listing.

Do electric recliner sofas need a power socket?

Yes. Electric recliner mechanisms are powered, so a nearby socket is needed for each reclining seat. We'd recommend planning your room layout with this in mind before ordering.

What sizes are available?

Our recliner sofa sets are available in every size across the collection, from 2 seater up to larger combination sets including matching armchairs, so you can furnish a full room with consistent reclining comfort.

How long does delivery take?

Most recliner sofa sets are delivered within 7 working days to England and Wales. Delivery is free. You'll receive a confirmed delivery date at checkout and a 2-hour arrival window confirmation the day before.

Is 0% finance available on recliner sofa sets?

Yes. 0% interest-free finance is available from £499 across 12, 24 or 36 month terms. Apply at checkout in minutes, subject to credit check and approval.

What's the return policy?

We offer 14-day returns on all recliner sofa sets. If the sofa isn't right, call us within 14 days of delivery on 02476 705 600. We arrange collection and process a full refund, provided the sofa is in its original condition.

What warranty comes with a recliner sofa set?

Every recliner sofa set comes with a manufacturer's frame warranty covering structural defects. Full warranty details are listed on each individual product page. Warranty claims are handled directly by our team on 02476 705 600.
