What is the Rivello range?

A classic genuine leather sofa collection made from real, natural hide. It's a timeless, comfortable design that works in both modern and traditional rooms, and there's a piece for every space — a leather armchair, a 2 seater, a 3 seater and a matching footstool — plus combinations. Every Rivello is a traditional, fixed leather settee rather than a recliner.

Is the Rivello genuine leather?

Yes — it's genuine leather, a natural hide rather than a leather-look material. It's breathable, hard-wearing and ages beautifully into a soft patina. Being natural, it may show subtle grain variation, natural markings and gentle creasing where you sit — hallmarks of real leather, not faults. We keep genuine leather clearly distinct from leather-look Leather Aire (which we never call faux) and from fabric.

Are these reclining sofas?

No — the Rivello range is traditional, fixed sofas with a classic shape, not recliners. There's no reclining mechanism; the comfort comes from the generous cushioning and the natural give of genuine leather, which softens and moulds to you over time. If you'd prefer a reclining sofa, our team can point you to our recliner ranges instead.

What sizes are available?

A single leather armchair, a 2 seater leather sofa, a generous 3 seater and a matching footstool. Each piece is available on its own or in a coordinated combination, all in the same genuine leather in your chosen colour, so a two seater leather sofa, an armchair and a footstool sit together perfectly. Each piece's exact dimensions are on its product page.

What do combinations like 3+2+1 mean?

Each number is a piece by its number of seats: 3 is a 3-seater, 2 is a 2-seater and 1 is an armchair. So 2+1 is a 2-seater plus an armchair, 3+2 is a 3-seater plus a 2-seater, 3+2+1 is a full suite of a 3-seater, a 2-seater and an armchair, 3+3 is two 3-seaters, and 2+1+1 or 3+1+1 is a sofa with two armchairs.

Is there a matching leather footstool?

Yes — a matching leather footstool completes the Rivello look. It gives you somewhere to rest your feet, doubles as an extra perch for guests, and — with a tray on top — can even serve as an occasional table. It's made from the same genuine leather in your chosen colour. Some footstools also offer handy storage inside; check the product page to see what each one includes.

What colours are available?

Four genuine leather colours: black, tan, cream and caramel. A black leather sofa is smart and forgiving, hiding everyday marks well; tan is a warm, timeless mid-brown that develops a lovely patina, which is why tan sofas are such a favourite; caramel is a rich, golden-toned shade; and cream is a soft, elegant off-white. Cream, as a pale shade, shows marks more readily, so it rewards a little more care.

Does cream leather need special care?

Cream is a pale shade, so it does show everyday marks more readily than a darker colour, and it can pick up colour transfer from things like dark denim. With a simple routine — wiping gently, conditioning every few months and dealing with spills promptly — a cream Rivello stays looking lovely. If you'd prefer a more forgiving colour for a very busy household, black or tan may suit better; our team can advise.

How do I care for genuine leather?

Dust it and wipe with a slightly damp cloth, then dry with a soft cloth, and apply a suitable leather conditioner every few months to keep the hide supple. Blot spills straight away rather than letting them soak in, avoid harsh chemical cleaners, solvents and abrasive sponges, and keep the sofa out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators, which can dry and fade a natural hide over time.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window from the day your order is delivered, on items returned in their original condition. To arrange a return, contact our team within those 14 days and we'll talk you through the next steps. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described.

What happens if my sofa arrives damaged?

If any piece arrives with damage, contact our team as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with a few photographs, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or collection. It helps to check each piece over on delivery before the team leaves where you can.

Do I need to assemble the sofa myself?

There's very little to do. Our two-person team brings each piece into your room and fits any feet on-site, so it's ready to use. No tools or special skills are needed from you.

What guarantee comes with these sofas?

Every piece is inspected before it leaves us, and your purchase is protected by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described. You also have our 14-day change of mind returns. For confirmation of any specific manufacturer guarantee on a particular model, please check the product page or ask our team before you order.
