What's included in this collection?

108 tan sofas, sets and armchairs across genuine-leather, leather and suede finishes, in recliner and non-recliner styles, from a single 2 seater to a 3+3 suite. Most are in stock. Because it spans several ranges and materials, use the filters to narrow by material, recliner type and size.

Are all the tan sofas genuine leather?

No — and we're careful not to imply that. Several ranges are stated genuine leather (Dalmore, Cidliano, Dandrea, Renato, Annecy, Vantage, Amarien). A few are described simply as leather without specifying the type (Valencia, Valerie, Cinema). And the Oakland range is suede, not leather. Check the individual product page for the confirmed material.

What's the difference between the materials?

Genuine leather is a natural hide with grain that ages well and wipes clean. "Leather" without a stated type could be genuine or a leather-look upholstery, so we defer to the product page. Suede (the Oakland range) is a soft, matte material that's distinct from leather and needs suede-appropriate care. They look and feel quite different, so choose on feel as well as appearance.

Which ranges are suede?

The Oakland range is suede — a soft, matte, warm finish. It's a distinct material from leather, and we never describe it as leather. Most of the Oakland suede is currently out of stock, so register for a back-in-stock alert if it's the one you want. Suede needs gentle, suede-appropriate care rather than a damp wipe.

Do the sofas recline?

Some do. The collection mixes non-recliner sofas (around a third), manual recliners and a large choice of electric recliners. Use the recliner filter to switch between them. Not every tan sofa reclines, so check the product title and page — for example the Dalmore and Valerie ranges are non-reclining, while the Annecy, Cidliano and Cinema ranges recline.

What's the difference between a manual and an electric recliner?

A manual recliner is operated by hand with a lever or push-back action and needs no power. An electric recliner uses a motor at the touch of a button but must sit within reach of a mains socket. Manual models are usually simpler and lower-priced; electric models offer effortless movement, and several Cinema sets include built-in cup holders. Both need clearance behind to recline.

What sizes and configurations can I buy?

Single 2 and 3 seaters, matching sets in 2+1, 2+2, 2+1+1, 3+1, 3+2, 3+1+1, 3+2+1 and 3+3, and standalone armchairs. The set notation shows how seats split across pieces — a 3+2+1 is a 3 seater plus a 2 seater plus an armchair. Use the size filter to narrow to what fits your room.

Can I buy just an armchair?

Yes — there are several tan armchairs, including non-reclining chairs (Dalmore, Valerie) and electric recliner armchairs (Cidliano, Dandrea, Renato, Annecy, Cinema). They work on their own as an accent or reading chair, or alongside a matching sofa. Availability is shown live on each, so check before ordering.

What shade of tan are they?

Tan is a warm, mid-brown tone, and the exact shade varies a little by range and material — leather and suede can read slightly differently. Because on-screen colour isn't a perfect guide, we'd recommend a showroom visit or a sample if the precise shade matters for your scheme. The product page images are the best on-screen reference.

How do I style a tan sofa?

Tan pairs beautifully with neutrals, sage and forest greens, deep blues, terracotta and natural wood. Keep walls neutral and let a tan leather sofa anchor the room, or choose a suede tan for a softer, cosier feel. Add cushions and a throw in complementary tones and a neutral or patterned rug to ground the seating area.

How do I care for each material?

Follow the product-specific instructions first. In general: wipe leather and leather-look with a slightly damp cloth and avoid solvents; brush suede gently with a suede brush and blot spills rather than rubbing. Keep all of them out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from excessive heat, and operate any recliner mechanism gently.

How much clearance does a recliner need?

A recliner needs space behind it for the backrest to tilt and space in front for the footrest to rise. The exact clearance varies by model, so check the recline measurements on the product page. If you're tight on space behind the sofa, ask our team on 02476 705 600 about wall-hugger styles that recline forward.

How do I measure for a sofa or set?

Measure the wall space and floor depth where it will sit and mark the footprint on the floor, leaving room for walkways and for any recline front and back. Then check those figures against the product's dimensions on its page. For a multi-piece set, plan where each piece will go before ordering.

How do I measure doorway and hallway access?

Measure your doorways, hallways, tight turns, staircases and any lift at the narrowest point, for both width and height, and check those against the product dimensions. For a multi-piece set, plan how each piece will be brought in. If in doubt, call us on 02476 705 600 before ordering.

How long will a tan sofa last?

There's no single figure — it depends on the material, how much it's used, how well it's cared for and the product's construction. We don't quote a fixed number of years or make durability claims. Following the material-specific care guidance and checking the product page for its specification is the best guide.

Which products are in stock?

Availability is shown live on each product. At the time of writing, 81 of the 108 are in stock. The out-of-stock lines are concentrated in the Vantage and Amarien ranges and most of the Oakland suede. You can request a back-in-stock alert on those, and it's worth ordering promptly on any line showing only a few left.

How quickly is delivery?

Delivery is free to England and Wales by a two-person team, and timeframes can vary by product. Please check the timeframe shown on the product card for the item you're considering, or ask our team on 02476 705 600 to confirm the current lead time, especially for a multi-piece set or a returning line.
